National Parks and Recreation

I’m Nicole, 32 years old. Born and raised in Northern New York in the shadow of the Adirondack Mountains, I moved to Boston in 2010 for college and never looked back. Living in a city, though, I’ve been desperate to get back to nature as much as possible. That’s my husband, James. My travel companion, partner in crime and A+ copilot on all these adventures. Join us on our quest to check out all 63 National Parks, stopping at every other mountain, coastline, and scenic highway we find along the way.

I will be recounting my favorite parts of every park, the many pictures I take along the way, and the different forms of recreation we take part in.

I believe in the following: You should always drive unless it’s just too far to justify not flying. Nothing beats a rocky cliff by the water. Hike every single mountain you have time and energy for. And, finally, every day spent adventuring deserves a cold beer (or two) at the end.
